I am running Workstation on Ubuntu 6.10. When I try to install a VM I det the follong error.

(vmware-tray:9042): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path : "ubuntulooks",

I cheched my Synapitic Package Mananer and this is installed "gtk2-engines-ubuntulooks 0.9.11-1"

How to I get Workestation to see the file?

I have gotten a similar error after updating ubuntu, have you tried rerunning vmware-config.pl?

Also is your system up to date?
6.10 is over a year old =)
