Hello,
I am new in VMWare. I downloaded the Ubuntu 8.04 LTS image. When I start VMware player with this image, it starts in a small window.
I then maximize the VMware player window. What is happening is that the VMware get maximized, but the Ubuntu remains at its original size, surrounded by black area.
How can I maximize this?
Thank you,
Kouasim

On the menu bar at the top there is a item labeled Desktop, if you click this it drops down a menu.
on the menu that drops down if you navigate to Preferences, another menu will pop out.
On this menu, there is an item labeled Screen Resolution, if you click this, a window will pop up, where you can choose the resolution that you want Ubuntu to be at.

No, there is only a VMware player drop down list (and on its right, there are: CD-Rom button, Floppy button, Ethernet button and Sound adapter button).

No. Preferences has only 3 areas: Exit behavior, Web Update and Removable devices. There is nothing about screen.
